This tells the browser to pay attention to the mime type (content-type header) in the image data response from the server. In 2018 this could be related to the X-Content-type: nosniff header being emitted by the web server. 9 times out of ten, this is caused by an old URL that doesn't exist anymore because the host site has removed it 1. If the browser were set to not display any images then no images would display at all (which the OP said isn't the case). All was well before I had this thing worked on My desk top OS is Windows 7, my browser is IE 11, my issue is with the internet not showing my uploaded images. All I get are black X when in IE, so, I switched to Chrome, all I get there is little white empty boxes with a little green circle in the middle. Home Black X instead of picture Why do I get little black X instead of pictures in myĪnyway, since I have gotten my computer back from being fixed, (the hard drive crashed) I no longer can see my photo albums here in CF, nor anyone elses.
